  • Q: Why don`t you offer basic paint any more?
  • A: All figures and accessories on my site are developed and manufactured by me. My time paint figures and accessories is limited by my desire to create new figures and accessories; as a result, I don`t offer basic painted anything on my site any more, choosing, instead to focus on new products.
  • Q: What paint schemes do you provide?
  • A: I offer some custom painted pieces only. They will appear on the Exclusives page of the site. You can navigate there from the catalogue link to your left.
  • Q: What figures do you have available?
  • A: Its best to check the catalogue. Recently I`ve started adding a modest collection of new scales. I plan to add other scales soon.
  • Q: How do I order?
  • A:
    1. Go to the catalogue page by clicking on the navigational link to your left.
    2. Select the scale or product type you are interested in ordering.
    3. Each item will have a square input field below the description. This must contain the quantity you wish to order of that specific item.
    4. once you have entered the quantity you need to press on the add button; a pop up window will appear with that product listed in your cart. You can change the value, lower or higher in this pop up. If you change that value make sure you update the cart.
    5. If you are interested in more than one figure just select another figure on the page by entering its quantity and clicking on add. You can navigate to different selections offered on this site through the catalogue page and keep adding to the cart. You do not need to close the cart page or keep it open. Your items and charges will be added up automatically.
    6. Once you have completed your shopping you can select check out from the menu, or if your cart is still open, you can select checkout from the cart.
    7. The invoice page will provide you with 2 options for checking out. The first option is paypal. You do not need a paypal account to use paypal, just a credit card. I you don`t want to use paypal or a credit card, you can select `Print Invoice and Mail` at the bottom of the invoice page. This option is only for U.S. citizens with purchases being shipped within the U.S.
    8. If you choose the paypal option, then follow the directions on paypal. Make sure that you press calculate next to your zip code so that your shipping charges can be added and your order won`t be delayed.
    9. If you choose to mail the invoice with a check please note that; you will need to purchase a postal money order to pay the balance. I do not accept personal checks, cashiers checks or money orders other than from the U.S. Postal service.Make sure you fill out the form on the invoice page completely and correctly. This can delay your order and if your contact information is incorrect, it will prevent me from refunding your money or contacting you to get the proper information.

  • Q: What do you use to sculpt your figures?

For materials I use combinations of sculpty, paper, clay, wire and resin.

  • Q: Can I reproduce your figures and sell them myself?
  • A: No! I would have to get my lawyer after you and I can`t afford that.
  • Q: Do you ever plan on doing shows?
  • A: I`m a one man operated business at this time. I can`t afford to take the time off to do a show or afford the expense.

My wife is retiring next year, and we are discussing the possibility of her doing shows. She`s more of a people person than I am :D

  • Q: Why don`t you sell your figures on eBay?
  • A: I use to, but the last figure I try to sell on ebay was taken off the page by ebay because I said `the opening price is the reserve price`. They told me I wasn`t suppose to reveal the reserve price. I explaned that there was no reserve price. They said I still couldn`t say that. I stopped selling stuff on ebay.
  • Q: Can I recommend a subject to sculpt?
  • A: Sure, I usually follow the topic Figures and Accessories on My large Scale Forum Page.

    If you put a topic asking about a specific subject I will see it. The criterea is;

    • The subject must have images and a bio available somewhere on the internet so I can review it.
    • The subject must some how be associated with the railroad.
    • The subject cannot be a copyrighted personalaity (unless you own the copyright and provide a license to me free of charge)
    • The subject must be one that interests me. (I focus mainly on Hawaiian Railroads, Southern Pacific and Tennesse because I have spent a great deal of time in these places. If the subject is interesting enough, then I will consider them.

  • Q: Why do some of your figures only fit the Bachmann #455 RGS version?
  • A: Although it is a fine model, I do not currently own any of the Bachmann K-27 and Bachmann has never sent me specs on cab sizes and clearances. A customer reported to me that his figures fit perfectly in that particular K-27 and until I hear differently, I`m going to assume that`s all it fits.
  • Q: Where are your custom painted figures?
  • A: Here on my Exclusives Page
